ThauRed: the Reddit lead generation tool that never posts without you
ThauRed watches the subreddits where your customers ask, scores every new thread by how well it fits what you sell, and drafts a reply in your voice that you approve before it goes anywhere. It is a Reddit marketing tool we build and run ourselves at IvorySoft.
- Nothing auto-posts, ever — every reply is human-approved
- Threads scored by fit, not by keyword noise

Where to find it
ThauRed links
How it started
ThauRed started in April 2026 as our own Reddit helper. Reddit is where buyers ask the exact question a product answers, and it is also where a link from a stranger gets removed within minutes. Finding the right threads meant hours of reading; answering them well meant matching the tone of each subreddit. We built a tool to do the reading so a founder could do the talking.
The first version was a dashboard and a Chrome extension sharing one Supabase backend: watchlists of subreddits, every new thread scored for fit against the product’s own description, and a drafted reply waiting for approval. The anti-spam rule was there from day one and is still the product’s identity — nothing is posted unless a human approves it.
What’s next
ThauRed’s own marketing runs on ThauRed, which is the fastest feedback loop we have: what we learn answering threads for the product goes straight into the scoring and the drafts. A weekly blog of Reddit marketing playbooks and tool comparisons documents the method as it evolves.
The rule is simple: the tool finds and drafts, a human decides. Reddit punishes anything else — and so would we.
Under the hood
What it’s built with
An LLM proposing and a human approving is the pattern we recommend to clients most often; ThauRed is where we run it in production every day.
- Web app
- Next.js dashboard for projects, watchlists and the reply queue.
- Extension
- Chrome extension that shares the same account and backend.
- Backend
- Supabase — Postgres with row-level security, Auth, Realtime and Edge Functions; multi-table writes go through Postgres functions.
- AI
- Google Gemini for thread scoring, claim extraction and reply drafting, with quota-aware fallbacks.
- Payments
- Stripe subscriptions.
- Landing
- Next.js with three SEO hub pages and a markdown blog.
The scoring-and-drafting loop — an LLM proposing, a person approving — is the same pattern we build for clients in our AI integration services.
